Joint Venture Engineer

 

Responsible for joint venture activities for the organization, which includes operating, processing and disposal agreements that produce approximately 15,500 BOEPD.

 

Reports & relationships:

  • Reports to the Manager, Facilities and Joint Venture
  • Works closely with the development and operating teams to address processing and third party agreements, partner issues on operated properties, and non operated issues
  • Works closely with the accounting department on any partner receivable issues
  • Manages and supervises the JV Administrator

Specific responsibilities:

  • Provide negotiation required by the teams on any partner issues
  • Unit Agreement administration
  • Coordinate execution of any company and/or third party agreements
  • Review custom user fees being charged on a yearly basis
  • Coordinate an negotiate third party tie ins to Compton facilities; maximize and optimize third party processing revenue through company facilities
  • Review 13th month adjustments with teams to ensure accuracy
  • Act as liaison between Development & Operations and Accounting to ensure that budgeting is properly set up and provided to partners where required; budget the non operated properties
  • Responsible for developing and coaching the JV Administrator

Qualifications:

  • P.Eng designation is preferred
  • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills are required
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets, AccuMap, Envision/PowerView, Jiblink, CS Explorer, AFE Navigator
  • 15+ years of experience

Lead Maintenance Employee (Southern District)

 

Responsibilities:
Coordinate and perform all maintenance operations in Southern District. Duties include: pipefitting, pump jack repair, small structural welding.

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years Oil & Gas experience
  • Must be self motivated and have good problem solving abilities.
  • Must be a Team player.
  • Must have valid Pipefitters Ticket
  • Class 5 drivers license required
  • Crane certification would be beneficial

Candidate will report to the Southern District Superintendent.

  • Provide administrative support to the Superintendent (Central District), operators, EH& S Coordinator
  • Enter production, run reports, scan charts
  • Code invoices
  • Enter EH&S facility and well inspections into data base

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-5 years administrative experience in the oil & gas industry
  • Comprehensive computer skills (Microsoft Office suite)
  • Self-motivated and independent worker
  • Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
